Compact Fanless Platform Uses AMD Embedded Processor
North Andover, Mass – July 23, 2013 – WIN Enterprises announces the PL-60830, a 1U low-profile fanless system with AMD® Embedded G-Series SoC processor. AMD’s G-Series System on a Chip (SOC) combines a low-power CPU, advanced GPU and I/O controller onto a single chip. The unit’s small form factor board, the MB-60830, provides for fanless operation in a compact (202mm x 181mm x 44mm) package.
The attractive black-metal unit can be used to support various solution areas, including digital signage, automotive, digital control, interactive client, kiosk, media player, advertising, LCD Large Screen, information systems , education and general networking. Expansion capabilities include a full-size Mini-PCIe with USB, PCIe signal; and a half-size Mini-PCIe with USB, PCIe/SATA signal. Additional system I/O includes 1 x RS232/422/485 + 2 x RS232; USB 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB2.0; and Line-out, Mic-In audio ports.
